A View From The Perch

My daughter knows horses inside and out. We were riding bikes through Versailles many years ago when she mentioned she heard horses neighing, adding that it also smelled like horses. My wife and I dismissed it. However, we rounded a corner, and several mini horses were in a corral, hidden by the tall grass. Of course, we had to stop and pet all the little ponies.

It is easy to dismiss a younger person or the next generation, but I would caution against it. Young people are knowledgeable, energetic, empathetic, and vibrant. They offer exciting ideas with creative solutions, and they are our future.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. ~ 1 Timothy 4:12
